TRENTON — Two 18-year-old men were shot within an hour of one another at different locations in the city this afternoon, police said.

Both were expected to survive.

Around 2:55 p.m. a man was hit in the arm during a drive-by shooting that sprayed the intersection with Calhoun and Spring street with gunfire, Sgt. John Breece said. The man fled up Calhoun and hid next to a parked car, where he left a bloodstain on the vehicle.

Shortly before 4 p.m., a man was shot in the hip during a robbery on South Logan Avenue near the Hamilton border, Sgt. Darren Zappley said. He was walking down the street when he was accosted by the robber. The two struggled and the gun went off, Zappley said.

A woman who knows the victim called in and said her friend was shot, police said.
