A 26-year-old Princeton man walking home from work was assaulted by four men who robbed him of $500 in cash early Saturday
PRINCETON – A Princeton man was assaulted by four men and robbed of $500 in cash early Saturday, police said.
The 26-year-old man was walking home from work around 3 a.m. when he was approached by two men in their mid-twenties who demanded cash, Sgt. Mike Cifelli said.
When he refused, the man was grabbed by his arms and walked down Evelyn Place, a small side road off Nassau Street, where they were met by two more men, Cifelli said.
The four robbers beat the victim and took his money. Police were made aware of the incident 12 hours later when the man told hospital staff at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro that he was assaulted in Princeton.
