TRENTON — A city man is in stable condition after being shot twice tonight on Hoffman Avenue in Trenton, police said.
The man, who police believe to be 23 years old, was walking in the area of Hoffman and Stuyvesant Avenues about 5:45 p.m. when he heard shots, Lt. Steven Varn said.
Two shots hit the man, one in the shoulder and the other in the buttocks, Varn said. The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he is in stable condition, he said.
Police describe the suspect as a thin black male, approximately 5-foot-6, wearing dark clothing and a black mask.
