TRENTON — Police are investigating a shooting that left a city teenager injured tonight.

Officers were called out to the 200 block of Reservoir Street at about 6:40 p.m. on reports of a man shot, said Lt. Steve Varn, a police spokesman.

Upon their arrival, the officers found the 16 year old with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, Varn said.

He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for injuries that do not appear to be life threatening, Varn said.

No information about suspects was immediately available.

The shooting is the third today. A man was shot early this morning during a robbery on Greenwood Avenue, and a 43-year-old man was shot dead at the corner of Chambers Street and Walnut Avenue this afternoon.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police at (609) 989-4170, or the Confidential Tip Line at (609) 989-3663.
