Liza Dawson-Pitts, 30, of Trenton, was wanted on heroin possession charges and a warrant alleging she failed to appear in court. TRENTON -- A Trenton woman added Monday to the Mercer County most wanted list was captured two days later while driving in the city, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office announced today.
Liza Dawson-Pitts, 30, was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. after she was seen driving her vehicle near Parkside Avenue and West State Street in Trenton, authorities said.
Dawson-Pitts was wanted on a heroin possession charge from October and a bench warrant for allegedly failing to appear at a December court hearing.
Dawson-Pitts had 12 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when she was arrested on Wednesday, authorities said. She faces additional drug possession charges.
