Three men were arrested March 19 after allegedly attacking three other men and smashing out windows of two cars.
PLAINSBORO — Three men have been arrested for attacking three others with baseball bats and smashing out the windows of two cars at a park last week, police said.
The March 19 attack on College Road East was part of a simmering dispute between the two groups, police said. The injuries were not life-threatening and the three victims were able to get in their cars and flee, Lt. Joseph Duffy said.
“They departed the scene and called the police,” he said.
Officers who arrived shortly afterward found the three suspects near the crime scene and arrested them. All of the men are maintenance workers employed by Princeton Forrestal Village, police said.
Police did not disclose the reason for the argument that led to the attack. It is not believed the dispute was connected to their jobs.
Oscar Arandi and Rony Reyes, both 31, of Plainsboro and Gerber Esau-Reyes, 22, of East Windsor face charges of aggravated assault, criminal mischief and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. They were being held in the Middlesex County Correction Center on $100,000 bail.
