FLORENCE — Four people have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Roma Bank on Route 130 on Friday morning, police said today.
James Bridges, 20, of Philadelphia was the man who walked into the bank branch wearing a wig and passed a note to the teller that threatened violence and demanded money, police said. A man and woman from Trenton and a Bordentown Township woman were also allegedly involved.
Immediately after the 11:40 a.m. robbery, police from Florence, Bordentown Township and Mansfield searched the area, bringing in a tracking dog.
Detectives spoke to witnesses and had names of potential suspects by Saturday evening. That night Vanessa L. Pacini, 20, of Bordentown was taken into custody.
Today township detectives went to Trenton and targeted several locations along with Trenton police. They arrested Bridges and city residents Shalita Henderson, 21, and Michael Williford, 23.
The four were each charged with two counts of conspiracy, robbery and theft. Bridges was also charged with terroristic threats for the note, police said.
Williford, Henderson, and Pacini were held on $75,000 bail and Bridges’ bail was set at $100,000. They could not post bail and were taken to the Burlington County Jail.
