The sex was not forcible, police said.
PRINCETON — A 21-year-old Princeton man who was involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl was arrested Monday, police said.
While looking into an unrelated incident, investigators learned that Nelson Guerra was in a relationship with the teen, police said. The relationship did not involve forcible sex, police said.
The legal age of consent is 16 years old in New Jersey.
Guerra was arrested at police headquarters Monday night and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. His bail was set at $50,000. Guerra was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center when he could not make bail.
