The woman was not injured and able to escape, police said. Police did not release details as to how the woman was attacked or why it is being investigated as an aggravated assault.
Police believe the assault occurred around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, in an area behind Lincoln and Park avenues. They were notified of the case when the victim walked into police headquarters.
