BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP — Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery of a wireless phone store, who allegedly got away with a number of iPhones.
On Friday evening at 7:30 p.m., police said a man wearing a black mesh mask entered the AT&T store at Liberty Square and displayed a handgun. The suspect ordered the store employee and customers into the back room, police said in a statement, and stole an undisclosed number of iPhones.
The suspect was last seen fleeing out the back of the store.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s to early 30s, approximately 5’10” with a thin build, who was wearing a blue and gray jacket at the time of the robbery.
Anyone in the Liberty Square shopping center at the time of the incident is asked to contact police at (609) 386-2019. The incident is being investigated by Officer Trappanese.
