TRENTON — Two masked men robbed a deli at gunpoint Monday night, taking money from the store’s two registers, police said.
The men entered the Fernandez Deli on the first block of Roebling Avenue around 8:30 p.m. They brandished their guns at an employee and ordered the registers opened and money taken out, Lt. Steve Varn said.
The took an unknown sum from the employee and ran out on Roebling Avenue towards Genesee Street, police said.
The suspects are described as Hispanic males about 25 years old. One was 5 foot 3 inches tall, of medium build and wearing a red hoodie, blue jeans and a mask, and the other was 5 foot 8 inches tall, of heavy build, and wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and a black mask, police said.
