TRENTON — A city man was shot to death inside an abandoned house on Sanhican Drive this afternoon, police said.
Officers were called out to the first block of Sanhican Drive around 2:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting, Lt. Steve Varn said.
When officers arrived, they searched the abandoned house and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Varn said.
Four men could be seen in the back seats of separate police vehicles, but authorities would not say if they are being held as suspects. No arrests have been made, Varn said.
The countywide homicide task force will investigate.This will be their first homicide.
