A Trenton woman suffered minor injuries in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Parkside Avenue and West State Street tonight.
TRENTON - City police are searching for the driver of a blue Jeep Cherokee who struck a woman at the intersection of Parkside Avenue and West State Street today.
At approximately 6:45 p.m. emergency crews were called to the intersection where a 21-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle, Lt. Thomas Murphy said. The woman, who police did not name, suffered minor injuries, Murphy said.
The woman was taken by emergency personnel to Capital Health Regional Medical Center on Brunswick Avenue for evaluation.
Police were diverting traffic around the scene shortly after the incident but the roadway was re-opened 15 minutes later when police and emergency medical responders cleared the scene.
