Peter Plumb, 55, was arrested around 11 a.m. after two patients reported being sexually assaulted at the practice, police said.
LAWRENCE — A chiropractor was arrested this morning and charged with sexual assault and two counts of criminal sexual contact, police said.
Peter Plumb, 55, a Yardley, Pa. resident with a chiropractic office on the 1200 block of Lawrence Road, was arrested around 11 a.m. after two patients reported being sexually assaulted at the practice, police said.
Police said a 39-year-old woman reported two incidents in November and December. The woman said during one treatment, Plumb told her that he “needed to work from the inside outwards,” removed her pants and penetrated her with his fingers, police said.
During another session, she said, Plumb touched her breasts through her clothing and placed his hand down her pants to treat her groin area, according to police.
Separately, a 20-year-old woman said she was being treated earlier this year when Plumb put his hand down her pants and placed his hand on her pubic area, ostensibly in an effort to align her hips, police said.
Plumb’s bail is set at $100,000 for the sexual assault charge and $2,500 for each count of criminal sexual contact, police said.
The investigation is being conducted by the Lawrence police and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
