PRINCETON BOROUGH — A man attempted to rob a Nassau Street restaurant Saturday but was pushed out of the store by an employee, police said.
Zorba’s Brother restaurant had just closed when the man entered at about 10:20 p.m. and said, “Put your hands up, this is a stickup,” police said.
The man did not display or mention a weapon, and a restaurant employee ran toward him and pushed him out the door and onto a sidewalk, police said. He fled east on Nassau Street.
The man was 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and wearing a dark leather jacket and dark colored pants, police said.
