TRENTON - A city man is in critical condition today after being shot during a robbery at a gas station convenience store early this morning, police said.
Police were called to the Shell gas station just before 5 a.m. and found the man shot more than once, said Lt. Steve Varn, a Trenton police spokesman.
The man was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery, Varn said.
He is in critical but stable condition this afternoon, Varn said.
