PRINCETON - State Police today released a sketch of the man believed to have taken the employees' tip jar from Efe's Mediterranean Grill on Nassau Street on Sunday night.
Police said the robbery occurred just before 9 p.m.. The man took the jar, which contained about $80, and fled on foot down Chestnut Street.
Employees chased the suspect, but stopped after he indicated he had a gun, police. No one reported seeing any weapons during the incident and no one was injured, police said.
The sketch was based on video surveillance footage and witness accounts of the robbery, according to a state police press release. The suspect is described as a thin, white male, about 5-foot-10, with dirty blond hair. Police said he was wearing a black leather jacket, a hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
