TRENTON — A city man has been indicted in the stabbing death of a Hamilton man in 2012.
Stanley Miller, 26, was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on several counts related to the death of Abraham Jeditoe, 21, including murder and several weapons possessions charges.
The case stems from an Aug. 4, 2012, incident in which Miller allegedly stabbed Jeditoe in the back after the two had an altercation on Chambers Street. One eyewitness said he had seen the two men together minutes earlier, while another said she saw Jeditoe running away from Miller, saying he had been stabbed.
Jeditoe was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton that morning. Miller was arrested and charged with his murder two days later.
At the time, police said they believed it was a “personal dispute” between the two men.
Miller has previously admitted that he was with Jeditoe on the morning of his death and that the two had been fighting. He is currently out on $500,000 bail.
