The man was slashed across the abdomen, police said
TRENTON — A 32-year-old man is in critical condition after he was slashed in the abdomen with a “cutting instrument” Sunday night in the city, police said.
Police were called to Wall Street at 9:42 p.m. Sunday on reports of a victim stabbed, Police Lt. Mark Kieffer said today.
“His abdomen was slashed,” he said.
The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he underwent emergency surgery, Kieffer said. He remains in stable condition, he said.
Full descriptions of the suspect, who has not been located at this time, was unavailable, Kieffer said. The incident is under investigation by Police Det. Gregory Hollo. Anyone with information is asked to call Hollo at (609) 989-3753.
