Two unidentified suspects approached the victim around 12:15 a.m. and tried to rob him, Police Lt. Mark Kieffer said today
TRENTON — ;A 46-year-old Trenton resident is in stable condition after he was shot in the left buttocks while walking home intoxicated on the 600 block of Beatty Street this morning, police said.
Two unidentified suspects approached the victim around 12:15 a.m. in an attempted robbery incident, Police Lt. Mark Kieffer said today.
“They said, ‘You better give it up,’ and the victim argued with them,” Kieffer said. "They asked for money, and he wasn’t going to give it up, so they shot him."
The victim was treated at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, he said.
Suspect descriptions were unavailable.
