TRENTON — A Hamilton man was shot in the leg Wednesday night while he walked down a city street, police said today.
The 22-year-old told police that he was walking in the area of South Logan and Walnut avenues around 10 p.m. when he heard multiple gunshots ring out, Lt. Steve Varn said.
The victim could not tell where the shots were coming from and began running, then realized that he had been shot once in the knee, police said.
He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center to be treated for the injury, Varn said.
Police had no information to disclose about potential suspects. The shooting is still under investigation by Detective Wilfredo Rodriguez.
