HAMILTON — Township police today announced the arrest of a Trenton woman for fleeing the scene of a crash last month that left one person dead.
Christina Rosario, 24, allegedly struck 50-year-old Trenton man Gary Gasior near the corner of Liberty and Bernadine avenues on March 5, leading to his death two days later, police said in a release today.
Following an investigation, Rosario was arrested Wednesday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and driving while suspended, police said. Police have informed Gasior’s family of the arrest.
Rosario is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, police said. Lt. Richard Mastropolo, Officer Keith McDonald, Sgt. Robert Diszler and Detective Leonard Gadsby continue to investigate the incident and more charges are pending, police said.
Police were not available tonight to comment further on the incident and arrest.
