TRENTON – A Trenton man has been indicted on a manslaughter charge in a 2009 stabbing death outside Dee Dee's Lounge in the city.

Curtis Brittingham, 24, faces charges of aggravated manslaughter and unlawful possession of a weapon in the death of Tito Glover, 21, of Trenton.

Prosecutors have said Glover was involved in a fight at Dee Dee's Lounge on Brunswick Avenue in September 2009 and when the fight was taken outside, Brittingham stabbed Glover in the abdomen.

Both men were affiliated with rival Blood street gangs, police said, but it is believed that the fight was not gang-related.

Prosecutors said it took more than two years to build a case against Brittingham because witnesses believed him to be a high-ranking member of the Gangster Killer Bloods and feared implicating him in Glover's death.

Brittingham was released from the Mercer County Corrections Center on $500,000 bail.
