HAMILTON— A robber made off with an undetermined amount of oxycodone this morning after giving a note to a pharmacist saying he had a gun, police said.
Just before 8 a.m., the man approached a pharmacist at Walgreens on the 1000 block of Route 33 at Paxson Avenue and handed over a note that read, “I have a gun, give me all the blue and green oxy,” police said.
Police said the pharmacist complied and the man fled out of the store with the pills.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, around 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds, with brown hair, an unshaven beard and a sparse mustache, police said.
Police said he was wearing a light-gray hooded jacket, a blue sweatshirt, tan pants and white shoes.
There were no injuries and the pharmacist never saw a gun, police said.
Detective William Berish is in charge of the investigation. Anyone who has any information is asked to call (609) 581-4089.
