ROBBINSVILLE — Township police are looking for three suspects who they said distracted a jewelry store employee and stole $100,000 worth of loose diamonds last month.
A man and a woman entered Tindal Diamond in the Foxmoor Shopping Center just before 6 p.m. on Oct. 30 and told an employee there that they were looking for engagement rings, police said.
As they distracted the employee and moved around the store, another man grabbed the diamonds from behind a counter, police said.
The employee, who realized the man was stealing the diamonds, chased the suspects out of the store and took a cell phone photo of their car, which police said is an older model Audi A3 with Pennsylvania license plates.
Police have released photos of the suspects, who they say did not use any weapons or force.
